Brazilian footballer Neymar congratulated LeBron James and the USA basketball team on winning gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Neymar posted on Instagram, saying,

“U deserve King” with a crown emoji, showing his admiration for LeBron.

The USA men’s basketball team won their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal by beating France 98-87 at Paris’ Bercy Arena. Steph Curry, in his first Olympic appearance, led the team with 24 points. He hit crucial three-pointers in the final minutes to secure the victory.

LeBron James, as captain, helped guide the team to another successful Olympic run. The win further cements the USA’s dominance in international basketball.

After winning gold in Paris 2024, LeBron James shared his thoughts on the experience. He discussed the team’s shared goal and daily commitment to improvement. LeBron expressed how much this victory means to him, especially at this stage of his career with his family present.

“We have only been together for a short period of time, and we had one common goal and that goal was gold, hold each other accountable every single day to get better, and we did that every single day until the last game.” LeBron said ( Reported Michael Dominski of The Athletic)

“It means everything. At this latter stage of my career, I don’t know many games I’m going to play, how many more big moments, so to have my family here means everything to me.” LeBron added.

LeBron James acknowledged basketball’s global reach and the growing competitiveness of international teams. When asked about playing in Los Angeles 2028, LeBron said he doesn’t see himself participating. He also praised Steph Curry’s talent and performance in the final game.

LeBron considers this gold medal his best because of the quick team formation and unique challenges.
