Neymar’s time at Al-Hilal, in Saudi Arabia, has been disappointing. Injuries have limited him to just seven games. He still has six months left on his contract with Al-Hilal.
To make the move possible, Neymar has agreed to take a large pay cut. It is unclear if he will terminate his contract with Al-Hilal or go on loan. Al-Hilal’s manager, Jorge Jesus, confirmed that Neymar won’t play in the second half of the season, speeding up his return to Santos.
This marks the end of Neymar’s short and injury-filled stay in Saudi Arabia, and a fresh start with Santos is coming soon.
