Elon Musk talks openly about freedom of speech getting undermined.

Elon Musk’s latest tweet has left fans debating over the problem of ‘Freedom of Speech’ getting undermined globally. Musk has kept ‘Freedom of Speech’ as his priority since purchasing Twitter back in April 2022. The Tesla founder has been against agencies companies/ governments who are curbing the speech through the use of algorithms and AI or simply by laws. Musk pinned his post on top of his X profile.

“Freedom of speech is the bedrock of democracy. If the truth is suppressed, it is impossible to make an informed voting decision. The degree to which freedom of speech is being undermined around the world is extremely alarming.” Musk wrote in his twitter post.

Soon, Elon Musk‘s followers started responding to his tweet from around the globe. Sharing their opinions on “Freedom of Speech” and its current condition in many places.

“Your purchase of X might save freedom around the world.” one fan said.

“The conspiracy theorists sure have been right about a lot of things” another fan said.

“Elon if you didn’t buy X the entire world would be under a propaganda curtain you are a true hero thank you” a fan expressed.

More people shared their reactions in the comment section. Elon Musk’s tweet had over 41 million views and 30K comments.

“I agree with you 100% but another issue is that we have people with 190 million followers on social media sharing inaccurate stories that are then propagated throughout the Internet and believed by millions of people as they get ready to vote. We can all be better and we should…” a person said.

“Control of information and suppression of free speech are the bedrock of totalitarianism!” one fan opined.

“I agree, you should ask your friends in Turkey, Russia and Saudi Arabia to stop persecuting people who speak their mind.” another fan said.

Leftists can justify the most extreme stripping away of civil rights on the basis of protecting “democracy”, which to them just means pluralism. Values like freedom of speech were a product of homogeneous White societies.” a fan detailed.

So people were completely in Support of Elon Musk’s view about the situation around the world when it comes to people speaking what they feel. But some people who had a different opinion were also able to show their concerns without any barriers.

Elon Musk’s X accused by former Twitter chairman for not getting paid

Omid Kordestani, former Twitter Chairman, is suing Elon Musk’s platform, X, for over $20 million in stock compensation. Kordestani claims he is owed this money for his time as Twitter’s executive chairman from 2015 to 2020. He says Musk, who bought Twitter for $44 billion and renamed it X, hasn’t paid him. The lawsuit was filed in California’s Superior Court in San Francisco. This is part of a series of legal disputes involving Musk and former Twitter executives. X Corp. has not commented on the lawsuit.
